Pete Sampras- The Famous American Tennis Player


Pete Samparas or Petros Sampras is an Americans tennis player. He was born on August 12th, 1971 in Washington. Pete is considered as the one of the finest players in the history of tennis.  The Sampras Serve is one of the best in the game and has earned him the title of Pistol Pete. Pit Sampras was the first person to win 14 grand slams titles. The titles include seven Wimbledon’s, five US opens, and two Australian Opens. He has been world no.1 player for almost a year.  The Sampras of Tennis was included in the International Hall of Fame in the year 2007.

Sampras Wife:

Pete Samparas married American actress and model Bridgette Wilson. They had a son, Christian Charles Sampras, in 20002. Their second son, Ryan Nikolaos Sampras, was born in 2005. The recent news reading Sampras Divorce with his wife has been a hoax. The couple is currently living with their children in California.

Sampras Tennis Achievements:

Tennis Player Sampras has won several achievements while paying tennis. He has won four consecutive Wimbledon titles. Only two other players were able to cross this landmark achievement set by him. They are Björn Borg and Roger Federer. He was awarded Sportsmen of the Year award in 1997 by the U.S Olympic committee. Also, the GQ magazine has voted Tennis Star Sampras as the Individual Athlete of the Year for 2000. In the year 2005, Sampras was considered as the greatest player in the period of 1965 to 2005. He has also been included in the 40 greatest player list.
