If you are a person who has been born in the 90s, or has lived the nineties with complete zest and fun then you cannot miss on this famous show “who wants to be a millionaire?”. This show is one of the most exciting shows in the history of game shows in television.
This game was real goals of achieving a million dollars with real hard effort and luck. There is no doubt in the fact that when the show went off air definitely it disappointed a lot of fans. After all since its starting from 4th September 1998 till the 11th of February 2014 it had managed to gardner’s so much of audience and TRP that it can hardly be compared to.
It has also be internationally adapted into 160 different countries in their own languages.
Good news for the fans:
When the TV show went off air it was still with it’s only millionaire show host Chris Tarrant, who lasted the game show for around 14 years of time. But now, the good news is that this show is about to make a comeback on its 20th anniversary, just for a short period of 7 episodes, but with the completely new host of who wants to be a millionaire.
Jeremy Clarkson who takes part in the series of The Grand Tour, is going to take over the show for its 20th anniversary episodes.
In the long run of 14 years, the show had only seen 5 winners of who wants to be a millionaire of the Jackpot. They were namely Judith Keppel, David Edwards, Robert Brydges, Pat Gibson, Ingram Wilcox.
The ITV’s head of entertainment, Siobhan Greene was found saying in an interview: “It felt like a no-brainer to celebrate the show that was a trailblazer of its time and broke the mould. In doing this one-off special week, I hope Millionaire will be introduced to a whole new generation.
“And with TV legend Jeremy Clarkson asking the questions, frankly anything could happen. I can’t wait.”
